The Director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Usmonzoda Khairiddin held a meeting with the Head of the Islamic Parliament Research Center (IPRC) of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Babak Negahdari.
The meeting took place on the sideline of the visit of the delegation of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Babak Negahdari welcomed his guest and gave brief information on the activities of the institution. It was emphasized that the IPRC, first of all, is engaged in the study and analysis of pressing issues and of interest to the Parliament. At the same time, it was mentioned that the submission of recommendations to the Parliament is one of the important areas of activity of this institution. The institute evaluates and advises on the draft documents submitted by the Parliament from a political point of view.
In his turn, Usmonzoda, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and gave brief information about the areas of activity of the Center for Strategic Research. It was mentioned that the Strategic Research Center under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, along with the analysis and research of political processes, also studies economic issues.
During the meeting, the parties expressed their willingness to expand and strengthen scientific-analytical cooperation.
The meeting took place in the spirit of friendship and mutual understanding.
